I could be here all day spouting how irresponsible alot of people are and why they should just jump off the next bridge they see.

However, I have and always will believe in positive thinking and practise, so in light of that I'll just say this:

Mathurin and Vendetta, both of you have left the obsidian community, whether through choosing to do so or being banned is irrelevant. Go do something positive with your time rather than throw abuse around.

Obsidian is here to be enjoyed not to be argued about. This is a personal shard run by BB. If you don't like the way he runs things, move on.

I'll also state this plainly: Racist behaviour /statements are against forum rules, as are direct flames on others regardless of their views/flames. Cut the crap out.

Much as I deeply feel for all those connected with 9/11, it should be common knowledge to you all that more civilians have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq by (predominantly American) forces by far.

While constantly making light of the event may help ease its effect on the american (and in this case Canadian) psyche, i dont see why this needs to become an in-ground sense of institutionalised racism. In fact, although there are many tolerant people over there (so this is not directed at all of you) it is apparent that the USA is the most racist country in the world.

I do not agree comparing 9/11 with killing horses in UO. One is very real, involving thousands of people; the other is fake, involving fantasy horses. However, I do not EVER want to see this degenerate into another 9/11-fuelled racism fest. Some of you should be thoroughly ashamed if you think you can use the death of thousands of people to support mindless racism.

Ashes in particular - whilst I understand that you found some of Mathurin's comments objectionable - I do not consider your extensive racist attitude acceptable. This is on the back of repeated screenshots I have recieved ingame of you using '(Racist words are not tolerated here. Consider this a first and final warning).', 'mexican', and others as a slur. If this continues I will revoke your forum access.

I will not tolerate racism on these boards, just because the player you are attacking may come from a country within a few hundred miles of terrorists. I've certainly never seen Aladdin declare Jihad on Obsidian!
