first off, id like to apologize for posting in the wrong forum, but i'm sure here i will get the fastest response, considering i haven't played in about a week and a half, 3 weeks on my own computer. I built my own comp and obsidian is giving me hell. everything works but obsidian.

Ok, i have downloaded the installer with IE, mozilla, and download accelerator. Once it finishes, i attempt to install and it says:

"error decompressing data. Corrupt installer?"

ive tried installing it in different locations, different drives, and no luck.

sometimes, the patcher will come up, and it sayds the client is outdated and i need to go to the website for updates.

can anyone help...im desperate here..
