Hi,
I've noticed what appears to be a bug with the registration and password reminder emails on obsidianshard.com.
I registered initially (under username: wintrmute), with an email address that was at my domain, wintrmute.net. However, the email never arrived. Attempts to retrieve a new password said that my account was fine, and an email would be re-sent - but it never arrived either.
I believe this is a bug, because no email even hit my mail server from dxgaming.com, either time.
I re-signed up (under another username, hope you don't mind), and used my gmail address instead - this time, the email arrived within 5 minutes!
I'm wondering if there is some kind of routing issue, or if there is some DNS/MX issue with my domain. I receive a lot of email from a wide variety of sources, and I don't have problems aside from this.
I guess my problem is solved now (with the 2nd account), but I thought I'd let you know in case it's happening to other people, who might become discouraged and give up.
I'm happy to provide the specific details re email address, domain name, if you want to check them out - just PM me.
Cheers, and I look forward to seeing in-game,
Toby

There are a few email types that they do not allow. I also know that there was/might still be a bug with registration where you cannot use any _ in your email. Either way, I'm fairly sure Broadband already knows about this, but thank you for the help!

Cheers.
I'm sure the email was well-formed, and reasonably friendly - only about 15-16 characters long, only consisted of a-z characters, plus the @ and . and all lowercase.

Also try checking your junk folder. 9 times out of 10 that's where the e-mail ends up for people who can't find it. Good you got it sorted though, I'll see ya in game!

Nah, that's the weird thing - the email didn't even attempt to connect to my mailserver. So, it was before any spam checks would be applied.

Weird, then all I can assume is that your email domain falls under one of the domains that isn't accepted.
