So I just downloaded the game. Installed it open it up, enter my account info, choose my shard, choose my character. But then it says "Loading Britania..." or something similar for 1 half a second, then the entire game/program is gone. No error comes up nothing.

Try creating another char and see if you still freeze.
Did this happen to you abunch of times or did you only try once?

Tried several times over 2 days and all of a sudden it worked tonight.

There was issues with the DNS, I suppose that could of had something to do with it.
Either way, good to hear you got online! I look forward to seein ya out there.
