http://www.dxgaming.com:85/aspx/stats.aspx
Check it out, seeing is believing and worth a thousand words. Keep in mind this isn't the entire player population. Basically we periodically pool the server status page and get hidden variables that noone else can see and store those variables in a database which later this page reads from. So any players that are not logged on will not see themselves on this list. Also because I'm still making tweaks I might nuke the database, though I doubt it. I think anything at this point will stay save for maybe the regular monthly activity reset which will occur of course on July 1st.
Eventually we will have the power to have every character name you see on any of these pages link to an actual character page with all your character's stats. Then if you see your guild click on the link and see your guild page. We can also have top most active guilds section or largest guilds or most murdurous guilds or something. The point is once the data is in the database we have limitless posibilities to do cool stuff. Enjoy and expect lots of new things this weekend.

i think the "lowest str" link is not working, it says duck has 3 str, count croxton 4, diablo 3. the rest work fine, it's a cool addition.

My mage is on the highest strength, and it says 128.. thats his int, not str.
I dunno about this, it sorta reveals alot to everyone. Some people like to keep their stats/skills on the downlow
oh and the infamous doesnt take -fame into account

You can't have negative fame.
The Top Players board pulls from this database so their both up to date.
And this is really just a test as the final product will be even cooler.

maybe str shouldn't be made public, mages can then create a better line of spells if they know the exact amount of hp their target has.

Aleady discussed...ya it may have a few teeting problems but I think this is amazing stuff...was chatting to CV about it yesterday and I think it is a really cool new addition to Obsidian

Nicely done ofc, CV. But the amount of info You're making available is
ridiculous. I for one, wouldn't want my stats/skills known to just anybody.

Once I start having "Player pages" on there I will make sure to include a feature to make it password protected for non guild members. You can toggle if it's password protected or not from the account section. again this is not the case now but it will be.
Maybe I should list the top stats aka highest str, dex, int but not show the amount? Will that make people happier?
EDIT: Made that change. Not sure but think BB changed the sphere.ini so the str should work now. Any OLD data in there is wrong so it'll take a while for people to log in and then we'll start seeing proper data again for those people.
