I'm trying to run my own UO Shard, just for myself locally, I can setup npcs for quests and stuff to make it like a single player game with UO Style and crap(got my own storyline to it too, depending on what class you pick you have a unique story to follow), but I need to get Gates working.

I can't get tele gates ingame to work. Probably something simple I'm missing, but does anyone know how to do it?

So I can go into a gate and it will take my to another location on the map.

Well I have a warrior quest working on it, just I have to walk between cities because I can't get my own gate system to work, I need to constantly walk between cove and brit because I cant get the damn gate to work.

The quest is a dragon slayer quest, I am going to add a bunch of sub-quests to gain skills to eventually be able to defeat the dragon, but it takes place in only two cities, and I need to keep constantly walking between.

Basically you talk to a monk in Brit, he explains about a dragon, Leads you to a clue in the library to a book that explains about an ancient dragon and you follow clues in between the two cities and eventually it leads to a dungeon where you can only exit once you kill the dragon.

Along the ways of the clues you need to kill certain unique monsters that drop other clues, as well as raising your general skill to help you.

I eventually plan to have almost every NPC giving at least one quest to a certain type of char, whether Blacksmith or Mage or something.

I've got most of the quest done, but I the parts i don't have finished I'm still learning how to script them.

im pretty sure you set the gates by [props on the the gate then you scroll down and set somthing... completely forgot what tho

What emulator are you using? And are you coding the gates, or just placing them in? As Prodigy said though, [props (for RunUO) or .Props (for sphere) should allow you to change the x, y and z coords the gate transports to.

That's funny. I've set up my own shard before. I scripted for it and did it fairly well.. I don't see BB jumping up to give me acess to the shard

He's very reclutant to give out positions of power due to obvious exploitations that have taken place previously, and I don't blame him

No kidding lol. I was just giving him some hope so that he has an incentive to do better. We all need that at times.

It dosen't work... I am using Lonewolf Emulator, because its simple and quick to use. And there isnt a command called "props"

u would prolly be best to use a better established emulator like runuo or sphere. more support and easier to find help with ur troubles.

Yeah, I've tries RunUO though and it won't work for me, I can log in fine, but when I select a character then the screen just goes blank when it says I've entered Britannia.

And Sphere I've tried but It also wont work properly for me.
