Bringing newbs in right now is not the best idea, IMO....

We might find 1 or 2 out of 50 that will find their way through the bugs and stay longer then a few days, but the majority will turn tail and run...and give the shard a bad name in the process.

We DO need some new blood on the shard...bad... but I think we need some basic maintenance first...

Well then I guess you're not planning on seeing any noobs on here anytime soon...? We'd need BB active before that happens.

CV has said himself that he doesnt have the ability to fix alot of the bugs even if he had the authority. Im not sure that Hydro has, either.

Maybe if the shard cleaned up its act a little, and the baaad players were removed from the game and the forum, and staff all tried to contribute a little extra, then he would have more incentive to put in some more time for Obsidian?

Yes it will I've said it before and said it again that I would rather have 1 good player than 5 boardtrolling, cheating assholes - and every good player I've spoken to has agreed with this.

By 'good' player I mean someone that conducts themselves well both ingame and on the forum.

does anyone boradtroll more than ashes, simply dealing out insults and bullsht on every thread that has nothing to do with him? and if i wanted to pvp i could easily do so as follows. 50 poison pots 50 cure pots bandies food blood viles a vank axe some blue and white fish. and if i really wanted to live no matter what i could throw on some good armor too. me vs mages is a diff story altough with cure pots i could survive that pretty well too. only 58 resist though. i just dont feel like fishing my str up to 170 and training boring resist another 40 , and my poisoning is at 40 i want it 80. but all these things are boring as hell and pvp just aint been fun for me in 4ever. im not a killer type i guess. if i do attack anyone i dont seem to know heres what they say.. drac its me, (fill in name)!

so what was the point of that post..? to try and take a shot at me..? I state my opinion because thats what these boards are for, there's no little thing that says "you're not allowed to post in this thread cause it's not about you" like.. wtf? I'll keep talkin, I'll just do it in a not so negative way.. in respect to the staff.

atleast when ashes gives out these insults, he is not giving them out to staff....flaming between players is 100 percent ok, but you come on saying that thass is a dick, or that hyrdo has one ball instead of two (lol) that is where the trouble starts. Thass is the only staff who actually stands out there and argues over this, most staff members will either do nothing about it or autoban right there. So, my point is, ashes likes to flame....but why the f*** not, its a game, as long as he respects the staff, that's all that matters!
