OMFG I'm really pissed off because I had a HUGE post and browser crashed, but to give you an idea I'm in that much of a good mood that I won't let that get me down so here goes (BTW as it turns out I wrote post better the 2nd time)...

After a very very long discussion with BB we are working on the development goals of Obsidian through the next year. In a nuttshell one of the biggest problems amoungst staff is A. long term goals B. communication C. burnout.

We are going to resolve A. by spending Sunday BB and I will draw up a full development plan that will change Obsidian in a way that is almost undescribable with the vast majority of the content being HIGH END, end game style content that will keep those people who have maxed their stats and skills to the point that the phrase bank sitting will be obselete (unless you're organizing a raiding party, woops let that one slip...). Rest assured that all along the way we will be pitching ideas to the community to get your ideas on how important some of these changes we want to make are and putting what you want first before everything else.

We are going to resolve B. by holding bi-weekly meetings with ALL staff (yes sorry staff you will have to commit to a specific time to do this). BB and I for at least the next few months until all the bugs are resolved and high priority issues will be going out to lunch/dinner and coding all day long at least once a week. Once we get back into flow of having good communication we will hire/re-hire staff again so we are ramped up and getting counselors who actually do their jobs.

We are going to resolve C. by implimenting A and B. Plus the server is more stable than it's been in many many months. You can also help out C. a lot by getting more players on obs through telling your friends, messaging retired vets, voting for obsidian every time you launch the client, and donating helps too because then we have the money and food for coding get togethers. One of the biggest things that causes burn out to staff is when numbers go from 120 down to 30-40. We are starting to get back up in numbers pretty regularly but we need your help to get it back up. Some of the HUGE changes coming in the future will be best experienced with a LOT of players working together.

So THIS SUNDAY, expect bug fixes and new content LIVE on the servers. Expect some lag due to both BB and I coding, but we are doing it locally to the server so it shouldn't be too bad baring the Pauses and Syncs when the stuff goes live. This next patch will be 20% high priority bug fixes, 50% high end content, 30% mid to low end content. Next patch after that will focus on nothing but resolving any and all bugs. Then any patches after we are caught up on bugs will focus 80% on High end content and 20% low to mid content.

ok Vendors look 90% fixed. Seems supposedly there is one bug there you say hi, say goodbye, wait for vendor to talk to you offering goods (1 minute), then you can hire them. But vendor only OFFERED for me to hire here. I tried to hire her and she wouldn't let me. So I guess there still some bug there will test it more.
