There are some areas on the shard that are currently locked out, aka off limits to players. These areas have no normal entrances, and are usually had the entrances walled off to prevent access. Yet some runes still exist, as is always the case. I'm taking this time to remind you to use your good judgement on whether you may be going ot a restricted area or not:
A few examples:
Sherwood
Ice Dungeon level 1 and 3
Horse Isle
Temple Isle
Star Chamber
Blackthorne's castle when the gate is down
Boat Battles
CTF
Any of the unused dungeons
There are many others, so just use your good judgement. If you don't have permission from a staff to be in that area, and it you have to ask yourself whether it might be closed or not, it's probably closed.
