Would there be a way? or would i have to code and entire one by myself, cuz i wouldnt mind playing a shard by myself every so often. But is there any way that I can? Just wondering because I want to experiment with different things, that I do not want to do on my account here. |

I was playing on my own shard using a POL emulator. It was connected to my network. My little brother, sister, some friends, and I were the only ones playing. It worked well...except everyone was a GM, there was not much land spawn, and no dungeon spawn. I don?t know much about scripting, but even with my limited knowledge I was able to get a continuous spawn of barlorns in the middle of Moonglow, remove, change and resize the guard zones, and turn the Moonglow cemetery into a red NPC camp. I have never done anything like this before....so It took less then an hour to get the server up and running the first time and to get a few people logged in. It took MUCH longer to figure out how the files/directories handle the scripts and even longer to figure out HOW to actually script the stuff once I found out where the script should go. I was working on a way to set up an automated account registration before I put everything on hold. Maybe I?ll pick it up again some day? |

i used pol as well, really easy to create spawns n stuff like that its all in the commands txt file. playing about with settings is easy as well as the pol scripts are more or less straight forward. |
