If we all got another character slot or 2. Pretty much everybody has 5 completed characters that they aren't willing to delete for another. Some people would get on for that which would get other people on, too. I know staff doesn't like to give too much free candy but it would benefit everyone equally, and if someone wants to put in the time for another/more GM chars, I say let them. It's especially valid because several new character builds have become available with races. This free game has been around for over a decade at an expense to the owner, so apparently it's for the enjoyment of the players. Interest has bottomed out, and this would be easy to implement Let's be real here, the "recruitment drive" probably wont happen, and if it does, its going to be a while. If Bob and Echo want to feel even justified in their script-work time, players need to be online to use it, which means you need to bring old players back, and maybe if people played again staff would be motivated again. |
