Has anyone on this shard actually built one? What skills do you need? And i don't want to hear any of this it is a secret bullshit. My son is trying to train a char for the purpose of building boats. I know you need gm carp and at least 90 cartography or so i have heard. But still it doesn't even show up on the menu. So before he wastes any more time and resources training useless skills, can someone please just tell me the skills needed?

ok well he has gm carp and over 90 cart, which someone told me before doesn't need to be gm and still no boats. So i assume that who ever told me that was way off.

i really hope he doesn't have to gm cartography because past 90 is stupid. It takes 50 blank maps to make anything that you can gain on. And out of 300 blank maps he only got 3 gains.

Update: 600 blank maps used and only 6 gains. He could speed up the process maybe by using a magic compass each time. Because they are so easy to come by.

actually even the magic atlas' are the same speed i know cause i tested it with 8 compasses. on top of that they are bugged so they dont work so its even more pointless. But ya i got to 90 in like a week but the 90-100 grind was a good 2 weeks of buying blank maps and using em every 2 full bags
