Kraken, quit locking the threads, what the hell is the point? I'm not posting in "candid discussion" for 2 reasons, 1 its the gayest f***** name i've ever seen anyone call a topic, and 2 my post will just get lost in there so theres no point.

Anyways, I'd rather him release the scripts then sit and do nothing like he is now. But it's pointless really, if a moderator like "kraken" gets on here and locks 3 posts about this, then clearly they dont give a rats ass what we have to say.

Why aren't you just playing right now instead of complaining?

I don't know if it should all just be made public, but let someone who is trusted, and active, accept scripting from players mayhaps.
I could see maybe releasing a small isolated section that needed help working on.

Regardless, Bob did say that he would "hand the torch" off to someone else, and when he was online (only Kraken, Truth and I showed up) he said he would probably be done scripting here anyway. He said he wanted to finish/fix things that weren't done yet.

Well, do it.

How is it idiotic? Remember, running private servers can never have as its goal to be lucrative... Its not like his script is going to make anyone cash. Heck, just give players access to the basic game mechanics. He can keep all the fancy stuff, that he never finished. Most of us just want to play it for old time's sake, but the holders obviously dont have time for the game and wont push the community to grow. So pass it on, or shut the f****** game. No more excuses, if you really care about your game, then do whats right for it...

Furthermore, stop locking threads. Players are trying to get a point across. Why would we, as a player base, try to attract players when we clearly know that this game wont progress with the current owners.

Anyways, its sad to see the stubbornness of the Admin team, when you've got plenty of fruitful options.

download that, download uo, setup sphere.ini, and start scripting and spawning the world

Never really did much with Sphere. Used to run my own shard on RunUO a while back that I was building on but put it on tje shelf for now. I could probably use my custom map and stuff in Sphere but all the scripting done so far would have to be redone. NO TIME MAN

Yeah I did one with maximus, was doing good for a while then he got too busy. Now I got one that im slowly working on, itll be done eventually ^^ and itll have a fully active staff team! yay!
