As you guys may be aware Obsidian is up to a total of 8300 accounts which is amazing! With these accounts comes added items and increased server load. For each new account we get our automated sections on the website slow because of the huge files they need to work with. Good examples are joining takes a 30 second wait and the account status has been taken down because of the unbelieveable about of CPU time it requires.

Additionally the server has more unneeded players and items to track that would be better freed up to offer better speed to all of you.

On Thursday April, 1st all inactive accounts will be purged. These include accounts that have never been logged into and accounts that have not been used for 90 days. If you have friends who play we suggest you get them back ingame if they don't want to lose all they have worked for.

I think that's what scared them off in the first place.
