I have been helping my son make a char and he was trying to train cartography. He made one map and then tired t make another. It says what you need for resources but when you try to make one it says you dont have enough resources? |

Maybe you dont have enough resources? lol you need a bunch of blank maps. |

It says for example 1 says you need 1 blank map, 2 blank maps etc. He has about 8 of them and still not working. |

Last i checked it worked - maybe he doesn't have the correct amount to make a certain type of map? Some maps take more than 1 blank map to make. Is the problem still showing up? |

He can't make any maps tho, even the ones that say they only need 1 blank map. We have tried going to different places on the map and using the sextant again before trying like it says in the skillguide. |

Lol you dont use sextant. Ive got to 92 carto on my tamer in this system (unless it was changed and not put in the changelog). All you need is blank maps thats it no sextant or anything. Just double click blank map and make sure you have right amount and click what u want to make and wala. |

Ok well he does have the right amount of maps and it still isnt doing anything that is what i am saying. |

Haha I was about to say.. if it was as easy as just clicking a pile of maps, I'm pretty sure Belg would have the job done by now... |

Need to use BLANK maps to craft with. Using normal maps brings up the crafting menu - but you need blank maps to create new maps. |
