fix it. Walking, crafting, fighting, casting. No matter what i try to do on this shard, it is ever-present. Even talking to another player.

I have high hopes that it will get fixed, that is why i continue to play here, other than it is the best shard i have ever played on. But i will not continue to play here if every action i have to wait for the server to respond, even when i am the ONLY player on.

I love this shard and i think what bob has done is awesome, but why the lag. I would offer a suggestion to fix it but i don't have one as that is not my area of expertise. If you need to know how to cook a turkey dinner, hit me up, i'm a pro. But fixing lag on a server for a 20 year old game has no bearing on what goes on in a kitchen, so i have no clue how to fix it, i just know that it can be fixed, as i don't experience lag on any other shard, or any other game, except for random spikes. Why is it a constant thing here?!?

Probably because Raptor is lagging the shard to get revenge on Echo.

Anyways, I did experience one major lag spike when I logged in a couple weeks ago. Only happened during the loading of my character, then dispersed.

slow network and less then optimal equipment for the server?
Hardware should not really matter....the game is older then every computer out there.
I think we were spoiled when BB was running things....he had mom and dads company T1 to run the shard on. BW is not cheep.

i didn't think of that. It was weird, this morning it was super responsive, everything happened until about 4 pm pacific. Then it started stuttering. Now it every action i feel the delay. So maybe it's the amount of traffic. Not tryin to piss anyone off, i say frequently in my posts how much i enjoy playing here and appreciate everything you do to provide me entertainment. Thank you bob, echo, sparger, and anyone else that i don't know about. And of course, thank you broadband, without you none of this would be here.
