Post subject:  Recruit Recruitment?
Obsidian needs to recruit..but how? When? And what Method?

Take into account theres games now far better than ultima online...(Personally i love ultima online) but what would a new player pick Ultima Online? or WoW?

Basically how is the recruitment going to be done? and when? A month? A year? And needs to be looked at is how and when did the lack of players begin? What was the reason for it?

I dont want obsidian to go stale, if i can be honest and somtimes the truth hurts..i cant see obsidian standing for another year...i came off about 8 month ago and most i see was 6 players on..now its 0 pretty much daily..no improvement..im not saying its the staff fault its just one of them things.

I got an idea you could advertise via facebook? plenty of time ive seen adverts for games etc

Ive asked the same thing and from what I have heard...bob still has a few patches he wants to put in before starting a recruitment drive...but in the meantime the people who are waiting for people to play should play themselves. I think we could have a decent amount of people playing that way until bob gets things done

The idea i can think of is stop the updates and programming and recruit now..just go back to the start think of obsidian has just opened and it needs new meat, now yeah theirs tweaks and updates as in any game but in time theyll fall into place..no point waiting for things to completely tweaked to perfection it could take years lol and obsidian would still be in need of players

Get the voting links back up on the website and vote? heck even people who have a facebook post the obsidian voting link on their status and just get random people voting, get back up in the ranks to at least number 4, do the same with twitter too?

well the start a account mo-bobber is broken.. so im sure thats turned away tons of people in this looong time we've been waiting for recruitment to start...

but i've notice.. less bobs on less players on... and hes been busy :( so.. ya.. everyone thats on has been for a while now.. they just want new players.. nothing more shard as is or better or worse.. its been like that.. if we had new players coming in, i doubt it would be as, and ppl would play alot more.. me myself included even if it is just to help noobers

oo ya, grand father chippers 8) ....

but ya.. thats what i want atleast :) even if its half assed at first SOME recruit ment will work,, ANY will work at this point even if it only brings us to 20 on at a time... (at 20 on more will come back becasue they see ppl are actually on)
