I've been having severe lag problems for quite some time now, as mentioned in a previous post in the bugs forum. For the last few days I have been attempting to play through it anyway. However earlier today I was playing through one of these laggy periods, when I started lagging quite bad - then I lost my connection to the shard. Now I cannot log back in - each time I get a message of 'Couldn't connect to Obsidian Shard. Please try again in a few moments'. Needless to say, I've trying to get back on for an hour+ with no success. Can anyone help? |

Ok so I have since been back on after having posted this. However I logged out to go get some coffee and now I can't get back on again, and the server status is showing me as online, even though it must have been a good 10-15 minutes when I logged out. As before I am getting 'Couldn't connect to Obsidian Shard. Please try again in a few moments'...

Intermittent problems continuing. After submitting my password, the connection is now just hanging on the 'Verifying Account...' screen

Same problem with me occasionally. I get stuck in the "Verifying Account" screen and the only way to alleviate the problem is to repeatedly hit the "ENTER" button. |

When you get stuck on verifying account. Atleast for me anyways, its because you try to connect to the server to fast and the Anti-Flood system kicks in and ip bans you temporarly (usualy like 5-10 minutes once even lasted 30 minutes) and every time you try to connect when your ip banned i think it makes it longer (not to sure tho). But thats usualy my problem not sure if thats why its happening to you. But try to connect slower if you have these problems. |
