Don't see that point, takes forever, would be great to revert back to shorter time unless Bob cares to elaborate on it.

I can understand. A long mark cast time is also nice. Giving you time to kill someone trying to mark at your house.

How can you kill something when you can't cast other spells while waiting for it to mark?

He means that if someone was in you'r house trying to Mark, you can kill them without them fighting back, because they can't cast anything back.

If it was a spell that did anything else i would say it is too long but it is just to mark a rune who cares really.
