obviously everyone has wanted those again like the ettin lords, and i understand not having those anymore...that said...i propose a different kind. i would like to see a pretty hard monster..something as hard as say a dragon or even harder, maybe like a skeley king,,this could even be a boss type. that would appear within 48 hours after the last one was killed, but would be in random dungeons, a wandering monster. it would stay in same area till it was killed but would respawn randomly in any dungeon. and i think becuase of the difficulty of finding it and of killing it, the monster would auto-drop either force or power(and you can leave out or add vanqs to your discretion)

I like it, something along those lines would definately solve the main problem with them before, they were farmed non stop.
Maybe like 2-3 of them but only force weps, no power, thats like vanq these days.

well i think the power should depend on the power of the monster..it would have to be super tough though to be power since it is auto-drop

Yeah, it should be tough, but still only drop force IMO since it would be 100%
Like i said, power is the new vanq and force is the new power. Ettin lords were too easy to drop power weps all the time. A dragon-ish difficulty monster dropping force 100% of the time seems fair to me.

i'm thinking of nother Idea , to put that monster in a place every one know , but to be able to just enter to him , u must be like 5 players just like shame lvl 3 , u must be mage to enter it by telekinesis spell or cove lvl 3 secret word .something like that. so u have to get nother 4 players like 2 pvp and 2 pvm from ur friends the pvms to help u and the pvpers to protect u too from pkers or w/e to be able to complete the puzzel and enter the room. it would be funny so it will not be a place for pvm only , but it would be place for pvp too , cuz if pkers wanna pk them they should be the same number of 5 to be able to enter the room. dunno something like that

no like venom said that was the prob with ettin lords,, ppl just camped them this will be much more appealing to bob if its going to happen then he needs to aprove it and this will probably be borderline as it is. but i think with it being a extended time before respawn and it being hard monster, and the randomness of its location...i think this would be a fair compromise and get ppl out looking for it.

Why not have like 5 scattered around the world and some can be "greater" ones that drop power? :idea:

I agree, i say like 3-4 in random dungeons and 1-2 much stronger ones (like wyrm strength) wandering the overworld.

word but how will you know ? will it be a new monster so we can tell the difference or the same ones we have just with enhanced effects or whatever. BTW I like this idea.

Theres plenty of unused monsters at the moment, im sure bob could pull something out.

If they happen to be scattered, how should the timers be with spawns? I think shorter than bosses, something like 6 hours. So in a normal day you can get 4-6 power weapons MAX with some serious searching and thats if no one has killed one within that time span of 18 hours

well i think there is no way bob would add more than one or two auto-drop monsters, but maybe one force str and one power, one dungeon and one overworld.

I think it should be more than two thats too little... and spread out not just in dungeons so it would be harder to farm.
