what Operating System are you running?

if you are running anything prior to Windows XP (vista, 7) i suggest you run obsidian in compatibility mode.

To run Obsidian in compatibility mode:
right click on the link ---> Click the Compatibility Tab ----> Put a Check n the box and Select Windows XP (with highest Service pack)

this should fix 90% of all obsidian crashes

It happens to me to hemo. Its a housing bug, Until its fixed use the I wish to lock command instead. Its same thing but u wont crash.

maybe its just me or my house is diff but i dont crash using the SECURE command

if you run obsidian in compatiblity mode u will do away with most crashes.. its more stable ran under xp mode

it still doesnot work . when i try to secure something it say it's not in ur house lol..

yea i have that problem with my wizz tower.. i think its something about the house not fully transfering over when traded or what not. (if thats your case) because I cannot unlock or lock down anything in my house. i can access the chests.. and i am owner.. but i cant secure or unsecure like i said.. also.. lol.. i have a -1 storage limit :/

I find this with only certain items. About 1 in 5 item types crash me. It started with my large tower that has never been in anyone else's name. It also crashes me on properties I co-own. I think it is a problem with certain items. The item does become secured after you crash...at least that is something.

doesnot matter for the house sign . i can unlock but i cant lock so how is that?
