A player who shall remain nameless, said this to me today in his defense: "I check it every 10-20 minutes". This is stupid people. That person has been here long enough to know better. The macro stones are 30 seconds. If you're playing the game at all, you will NEVER miss one. They are big, blue and obnoxious, and take up your whole screen. If you afk your skills, i will find you, i will drop you, and you will never gm your skills. So just don't do it. By afk macroing, you're cheating every person who legitly raised their skills through hard work. And I HATE cheaters. I wish you luck in world of warcraft, but last i checked they banned botters there too. |

so ppl never learn...... it states clearly in the rules "no afk macroing allowed" maybe the punishments for afk macroing should be added as well? in addition to the rules which im sure some people didn't read before creating an account this is a frequent topic of discussion on the forums... |

I think afkin should be aloud on some of the ridiculous skills like med, I'm never gonna sit there and train that f***** skill on a game that has little to no players. |

Meditation isn't even that hard to GM honestly. This skills gains a lot faster than t3a did. |

When your training something like med and all you have to do is sit there and macro it its very boring...... But when i train something like that i just do it on my laptop and sit it ontop of my tv and play xbox |

i think something like this should be added to rules...first offence-warning...second offense-loss of 10 skill points...3 offence-10 skill points and 24 hour ban....examples only....but i think that if they were there it would help some ppl(not this person though) and yes some ppl would abuse it once but they would know they pre ordained punishment for there crime. i think in the past that has been part of the issue..gms(in the opinion of the perp) being harsh on them and light on others...i think there would be LESS confusion this way. |

punishments have always been up to the Gm in question I passed out with a stealth macro running once Blinkers happened to catch me no macro stone or anything just automatically dropped my stealth to 30 I believe I had been at 90.... I didn't whine or complain though it was my own stupid fault I was not there to respond so thus was afk and was punished for it. Its a firm rule it is not going to change or be flexed in anyway so I do not understand while people constantly complain about it, there are plenty of other shards that let you afk macro and use programs, if you don't like the rules here play somewhere else! it really is that simple. |

Realistically, if you used med in combat while using magery, you'd hit gm on both roughly the same time. So the "there's no way to gain it" is rather poppycock. That being said, if there's ever a skill yout hink you have to macro on, then post a way how to make it not need macroing (besides easier gain), like how to make it fun/interesting/etc. I've always believed if people are macroing a skill, usually it means something in the skill construction is wrong and it's use isn't fluidly part of playing, or it's too boring. I'm working on the boring parts: crafting minigame, for example? I haven't heard a lot of input about this one, are people mostly ignoring it? Does it need a better scheme/game? I'm still throwing ideas around the whiteboard for making the resource gathering skills more fun. |

I mostly ignore the minigame, it seems, from the times that I did play it, like you gain noting by clicking the colors. I know that you do but it doesn't seem like you do thus looses its appeal quickly. That and after resource gathering for hours its kinda nice to just kick back and watch the resources get used up... |

i think the mini game is nice.. but maybe cut the time down a bit more... (more green dots) If i am training the skill I either play it or dont.. it depends.. if i am really bored i will but if im sitting at the bank mixing stuff or something talking to ppl then i will but like say (said player) wants me to make them a suit of armor really fast then i will run to the hosue and will prolly use the mini game to make the trip take less time my only input on the mini game is that i do infact like it.. but i would like to see about twice as many green dots.. or maybe even more than that.. most times the screen pops up u only see blue and red each time it changes i think there should be about 2 green dots on the selection thing(or maybe 1) |

Not when there is a low playerbase, get more people to play and I bet less people will afk skills when they could choose to go out and kill a shitton of players. As of right now your lucky to find one person out of town. Right now training meditation is pretty gay when theres no battles going on, so I don't even worry about med anymore, I just accepted the fact that it will reach 100 whenever it does, which sucks.. |
