i really hope this is a bug kills timer is set to real life...shouldnt that be on game time? |

this is a good way to reduce some of the kill timer then by making it in game. |

lol lets not take this thread that far..he wont respond if it gets crazy. in game timer would reduce kill timer by 25% that is a good enough consesion i think anyway. |

i think that he wants it so if you pvp isnt really socially acceptable... in town.. like your not a good citizen if you keep attacking others.... i think you should be grey for longer...because this is a game.. and EVERY active PvPer being red is kinda ridiculous.. you can't really pvp for long without turning red.. its impossible O.o |

i know...my necro turned red and gained 3 kills after attacking a few people for fun..i did one spell for each person i attacked i log off and log on my warrior n about a hour or two later after they pvped n died to someone else i gained those 3 kills...maybe its a bug idk. |

i am pretty sure we have been down this road before, and i think the answer was something to do with a combat patch he was working on. Something about not gaining kills if fighting a guild war but if you randomly kill people you have to except the consequenses. |

new idea.....kill timer goes down as you get more fame for HUNTING...not red chars... so if you can build up a good amount of karma/fame, hunting only, then you should lose a little extra on timer..since your doing the good of the ppl by killing of the vermin! |

I agree with falin's idea. A way of losing kills faster by doing something in game would be nice. |

kills takes forever to decay especially after 10 kills.... I WOULD ALSO SUGGEST A ACTIVE KILL TIMER command...So I can see how much more logged in hours i need to decay kills.. Like .killtimer You have 3 hours and 23 minutes untill your next kill decays. Honestly the kill system needs work most of my kills came off bs and I been waiting forever on my necro to decay them ...Im looking for a miracle to get rid of my 8 kills on Magus. I want to fish ...and train skill points in shops outside of wind...... |

i got an accidental killl on my new necro and i think its already gone... i think most kills are from dicking around at the bank..and someone getting accidental kills.. you have to be carefull here.. if u alter the kill timer to much.. and make kills easy to decay... then with the player base.. all pkers will be blue.. if u accidently kill someone.. its not hard to drop taht one kill.. i think ppl need to accept the fact that if u are going to carry on in a murdering fashion.. then you will have to accetpt the fact that your char will be an outcast.. a criminal.. and that is teh consequence.. for all the dicking around ppl do at the bank there is a perfectly good arena that no one ever uses... i can understand ppl having grief for accidental kills but.. like i said... unless u are constantly testing the system then accidental kills shouldn't be happening so often.. prob is no one gives a damn.. openly fights like pussies at the bank and then cry about the kills that occur.. all my chars have 0 kills.. :/ (pretty sure) |

well the point people where making was that if your a pvper.. or even have fun sometimes on characters, it's way to easy to pick up multi kills, and unless you stay on for 10/15 hours(on one character) at a time it isn't easy getting the kills away the pkers in t3a were never blue, so i dunno wtf your talking about there... it was good b4, one aspect that no one ever really complained about.. until now... + staff looking for ppl afking kills wasn't a problem back then.....seeing 95% of the shard likes the old system better... why not switch timers back? and keep the new notority system.. |

all i mean was that you could still pk ppl and decay your kills and stay blue... but ne ways.. why not have it so that your kills decay based on a global timer so that it is decaying wheather u are online or not.. for example.. u got 20 kills on ur mage.. but while ur crafting pots on your alchy.. ur kills are decaying.. or hell even if u are not even on the game at all ur kills decay.. i dont care really.. because most the ppl i see at the bank are red ne ways so it dont really mater... my solution: under the current system.. do away with vendors and town ppl calling guards on players.. (in all towns) but keep the ability for players to call g's on reds.. after all there must be some punishment for being red... this way reds could freely go where ever they wanted to as long as a player didnt call g's on them.. |
