My mother has a trailer right by the water about 4 hours away at the coast. I try to get out there as many weekends as I can to go surfing when it's warm. |

LOL well if "good" is standing up and riding I guess I'm "good" heh. I've been riding since I was about 13. Where I live by the Atlantic ocean, the waves only average about 2-4 feet though. But I have seen days where there were 7 foot waves after or before big tropic storms though. I used to rent boards as I was learning. Now I own one (a beat up shortboard off Craigs list for 50$ lol) but I'm still looking for a "funboard" which is the step between a shortboard and a longboard and is about 7 feet long. The long the board, the easier it is to catch waves.. but also the slower you go. Gotta find the right balance for the right days. |

Hrm.. well I rode skateboards before surfing... I'd have to say with the right board and good conditions that surfing may be easier. Then again, that might be because water doesn't hurt as much as concrete or wood lol |

I would have to say Skateboarding is easier. This is because I can stand on a skateboard, but a surf board it is impossible |
