You've probably allready checked this... but perhaps Obsidian is on 'mute' in the soundmixer? I know Obsidian gets a volumeslider for itself there..

I just had a major meltdown of my PC due to a power surge. Upon re-installing obsidian, there is no sound...I do have sound for other programs and sounds is enabled in the options in Obsidian. Anything else I can do to get it working? The OS is Vista Ultimate....It was previously Vista Home Basic. |

That was not on mute. Seems to be working now though...dunno why or how, but it is and that is good nuff for me lol. |
