...seem like fricken Romper Room!

I have to admit that I was so hesitant going in to Eve. Oh! It's SO HARD! There is lawlessness! You can't trust ANYBODY! And the mining...oh, the MINING!!!

Good lord, what has happened to the average MMORPG player of today? I laughed my ASS OFF when the first "bad" encounter I had in Eve was when a wanna-be pirate player came and ganked the stuff I was mining...AND THEN MESSAGED ME TO APOLOGIZE. Fricken hilarious...

This isn't to say that there aren't any truly vile players on Eve, but I almost want to join a "bad" corporation just to introduce them to a little bit the of Real Life (tm) that I learned while playing on Obs.

Anybody else have any funny stories about introducing a bit of the beautiful and brutal world of Obs to other MMOs? :twisted:

Haha hey man. I was just wondering about you today. Strange.

Really the only other MMO I play at the moment is Lord of the Rings Online. It's really not much of a PvP game in general. PvP in LOTRO takes place in a certain zone where players can choose to play their heroes, or choose to play as monsters. It doesn't really have much bearing on the "main game".

I play a web-based game called "Legends of Zork", and do have a fun time PvP'ing in it and running a clan. I do get an evil chuckle once in a while by killing the same weaklings over and over, and remembering their names LOL They can lose fame and have their kill/win ratio drop.

I mostly play first person shooters, so really Obsidian is the main game I've played where you can kill and loot people around the world. I get more of a thrill out of running from those who want to kill/loot me or get revenge though because I like playing "neutral" or "chaotic neutral" in RPGs in general.

if you think obsi is brutal you should try darkfall. closest i have seen yet to a modern day obsi.

Darkfall is a great game im on there just about everyday when i can.

Epic pvp battles. Love it

wasnt darkfall made by a bunch guys who used to play uo and got tired of the same boring quest based mmos out there today? i mean if you look at it the only 2 mmos that have reallly embraced pvp and full loot has been ultima and darkfall if memory serves me correct
