(Which kinda sucks, I wish a different chat protocol were more popular!)

I can see guild chat being really cool.
There shouyld be a command for the leader to create a announcment for when guild members logon it will announce at the bottom left.
Also, there should be a command .guild and it would bring up a dialog listing some guild options.
Like (Guild Announcment, Guild Events, Guild War Status, Guild Location, Guild Thread Link.)
I also think there should be a ranking system in the guilds, like Founder, Commander, General, etc, and the guild founder is able to set the ranks to the members.

And the the leader-co- higer ranks can recuit so the leader and the player dosent have to be on at the same time to get someone in the guild.

What if the guild chat was enabled/disabled from the guildstone? ...And possibly a toggle on/off for members?
I'm just thinking less spam
I don't think the ranks should be too extensive. May be like - Founder/Guild Master, Second in Command, a general member, new recruit....?

or even toggled on-off with a command like ".guildchat"
then you can choose to listen or not at any time.

Yeh but the guild announcment should always stay on so everyone knows what's up.

Thanks, wonder how long it was disabled for, dunno what flicked it off.
Guild chat is back on now. As for the other ideas, maybe in a future guild patch, so keep up the discussion of what ya'll want.

Currently you can assign titles to people in the guild - thus giving them a rank. At the moment it allows for alot of freedom and why would you want to make all guilds the same structure?
I like the idea of a ranking system between different guilds and a menu for guild members to look at (and announcements from the guild leader)
