 Post subject: Intelligence Gains...

Ok im sorry for posting this again but its really ticking me off...


I walked 8 steps in sealth at 10 int and gains 3 int today.

In about a 2 min fight i gained 4.

Im hearing from mages that its the same with dex and i dont like it much i cant even hunt like this.

yeah dex and int gains are pretty friggin screwed atm

have had the same problems before with sab gaining int like crazy and snoopy gaining tons of dex

I agree was fighting yesterday with a mage in town and gained 5 int within 20 mins...My int was at 6 another - 1....lol maybe increase stat cap to 300.... or 310 or 320...lets see. I think a higher cap will make it better to hunt also.

If I were to hunt for one hour with me warrior I would probably use 3-4 -int potions. I dunno about fighting with the mage...I only pvm poly with him and he doesn't gain dex then.

Note: warrior int is between 6-10 at all times.

there is a really interesting stat here that most of you will laugh at doing since it means the perfect warrior build for stats and such would be throwin so far off the mark youd be hitting europe when aiming for canada.... and your throwing from mexico lol (stfu i like my analogy).

warrior will not gain past 50 int no matter what unless you start training a skill that primarily uses int. this even includes skills like resist sab has 50 int cause im not dropping it until i get certain skills up that i know will just re-raise my int so its pointless and a waste of money... so i mean if your really tired of int gain just get 50 int...

20 int will prevent 99% of warrior gains.

It's hard being that stupid. At that point every breath teaches you to keep breathing.
Same with any other stat.
If you want to min-max and have 1-10 int/dex/str/whatever, fine, but there is a price for it. :)
I've already halved gains from what they were set at in t3a, , and can't really do more without throwing off gains at higher levels of the stat.

yeah but what if said warrior does not need to breathe? like what if they are a vampire of awesomeness? or even just your everyday run of the mill vampire...?

on a related subject to my previous thing right above this text i do not think vampires should have to drink blood mearly to regain health i think a vampire should need to drink a certain amount of blood each time said vampire character is logged in jsut to survive but alas im posting this thought in the wrong thread

haha idk wtf u were trying to get at there blob. I see what your saying Bob but i dont believe this game is focused on realism. I prefer slower stat gains from skills that arent dependent on that stat. There should be stat gains but not at this rate. I shouldnt be gaining dex from magery like i am

i think the problem is more that when it is below 20, that it goes up soooo fast from there when the max is 20 it goes from 15 to 20 at like mach 5. that is what seems to be the problem imo.
