i walked through covetous today and here are some thoughts i had:

1) lvl 1 has 15 monsters in all dungeon. there i alot of open space, needs more spawn

2) lvl 2 has 14 monsters in all dungeon. same as lvl 1, needs more.

3) there are mostly undead in covetous, should be more gaints types.

4) Has anyone figured out lvl 3 code? everyone i talk to has either not ever gotton in or has gotton in once and cant figure out how. If noone has, it seems that this dungeon should maybe get a new entrance trick?

what they should do is do away with the codes and put in a bit harder monsters. Just my thought :)

cove is a newbie dungeon....therefor the spawns are just fine. the number as well as the type.... the graveyard gets boring after a while there are plenty of other dungeons with more difficult monster spawns.

dedo....walk through it once. you have to walk alomg time in spots to find and creatures.....i not saying double it but i think a few more would be good. and some of the undead in lvl 2 were harder udead like skelital horsses and mummys.

Covetous always used to be the newbie dungeon, at least it was last time I spoke to CV when he was spawning it. When did this change?

I dont ever remember it being nooby. There was always alot of spawns of Ogre Lords, Dragons, and Ettin Lords in there.

The first level or two was restricted to noobers but the deeper levels were for normal players....last I saw.

This is a great example of the modified living history that obsidian has.
The first few floors of that dungeon has not changed in 5? years.
Yet some people "Swear" it's different than when they played.

Memory isn't that trustworthy all the time.
Anyway yes it's the newbie dungeon and will stay that way. the last level might get an overhaul later though
