i've found a good thing in other shards, it is that if ur skills on swords/mace/fencing/tactics or whatever is low,,, u can't even attack High Str Monsters.

like if we wanna kill a skeleton, we should have at least 20 swords(or whatever for EXAMPLE) and also for drakes, we should have high skills to attack them or we won't be able to even hit them.

by that way,, we will have balance pvm levels.

so it would be a good add in obsidian,
what u think?

No because if you pvm in a team with low level characters..youll be stopped.

it isn't a problem, u can pvm in a place where ur mates can hunt there.
do u think u'll hunt with like 40 swords players in destard?

or at the entrances of dungeons, would be good add if we get a gate which teleports only high str chars in dungeon.
and i'd go with this one first.. it will be a very good add i think.

I dont see the point to this. Why would you wanna limit a players game play. If i have a 100 str warrior with loads of explosion and p pots, and 40 sword ican still easily kill drakes. There is already some dungeons who have signs that say that its very hard. It should be your choice. There is also the puzzles that sometimes require 2 players, so I think that the dungeon limitations are already enough.

i get the idea but i dont get the point..

i think obsidian is a great game cuz pretty much everything is 'beleivable'
like when u die, you are dead, and your shit goes on the ground with your body
like if you are too weak you die

wath addition would it be to the game to prevent ppl with 10 sword to attack a skeleton ?
or why would you need 100 str to go to shame 4 ?

my body got 85 str on char, yup.. he is not addicted to the game
but he can still bow n heal like madness and so i would go take out a skelly king with him

i like the way the game is self balanced, i like the way there is not very many things that we cannot do just ''because!'' and that things make sens. i think such a mesure would be a drawback

the limit of what someone with 40 str and 40 swordmanship can kill is already set
and it is very efficient. it is wath he can kill without dieing..

some people solo king goo goo, some 10 man crew get raped by a wyvern..
but once u know your limit, the limit is set

Not really liking this. Its always been that you could hunt anything, regardless of your overall level. Seems rather sketchy to just kill skeletons because one of your skills are low.

Also a character in training gets better gains training on harder and more difficult monsters than just sitting in Brit GY chopping away at skeletons and zombies.

Good idea, but I dont think that will be implemented in this game.

um ya i would have to disagree with this one also,

1 theres no point to doing this
2 like magger said its self balanced
3 that would screw pkers out there socks when they get expeled from a dungeon because there pvm counter part just runs through the higher level entrance

Yeah, i understand the reasoning behind this change, but will never implement something like it.
Nothing prevents someone from suicidally attempting to solo the whole game, and in some areas is encouraged.
Every dungeon puzzle,boss/etc currently in-game can be soloable. just not easily.

If i really want someone to not kill something, i'll add in other things to make it hard to kill. But if someone's determined, let em do it. :)
