Not very well thought through, when in destard lvl 3, when you go back up the stairs sometimes the rocks are back and your trapped, cant go up or down. and if your a red that means your stuck till a GM can rescue you.

Also in shame, reds can get stuck past the wall since there is only 1 lever on the other side..

intentional on both counts, as is the way to get stuck on destard 2 while attempting to pierce the rock veil.
Each dungeon has a similar situation that allows for failure if not properly taken caution of.
Just because all the dungeons can be accomplished alone, does not mean they are easy feats. And every dungeon allows for a properly precautioned solo attempt.
Including shame.

Is it intentional for reds to get stuck and need staff to get them out?

no, but there isn't a place on the shard where reds can get stuck that blue's can't and "need a staff" to get out.
There are lots of places a red can foolishly trap themselves in that assistance would be useful in getting out of.

But that is very different than requiring staff's assistance, and if you get stuck in one of these areas staff will not help you. You will have to find assistance from other players or by figuring out how to help yourself.
