well Chips suggested that this might be a bug so im posting it here atm ALL myth pieces are valued at def 37 all of them including gorget, the only color you get some variation with is gold for obvious reasons. this goes for all colored armor not sure about iron since i never make it but i will test it tonight. right now the def i have checked: Iron Rusty Bronze Gold 43-50 Shadow 42 Myth 37 (and why is the BS willing to pay so much for it?!?!?!!?) Aga 47 Verite Valo Silver Rose Black Blood as soon as i get some other stuff done im gonna grind out some more pieces to test more.... |

If I am correct, the defensive value of each piece is based on the total armor number of an entire suit of armor of that type of ore without a shield. So say one puts on a brand spanking new set of Mytheril, that person's armor number will be at 37. Therefore, the armor rating for a brand new piece of Mytheril armor is 37. |

when using arms lore it tells you the defense value of the armor or the attack value of a weapon so when I checked the values of the different types of armor I was going to be selling I was rather suprised. and I did some more checking yesterday and found that it is not universal there are some odd exceptions with leads me to believe that what koldoon said isn't quite right or that system is also flawed. right now the def i have checked: Iron 40 for all except: f.chest 30, buckler 7, metal shield(round) 9, heater 23 Rusty Bronze Gold 43-50 Shadow 42 Myth 37 (and why is the BS willing to pay so much for it?!?!?!!?)
