All mines are pretty much the same, but a mine witha forge in it definately comes in handy. Also since you kind of have to walk with all your ingots i would say walking distance to where you have to being them is also a factor.

Make a macro aswell, last object, targetself, then your miner will mine right below your feet, it's alot easier than clicking.

Just a quick BUMP

Can anyone give me the link to the new mining/blacksmith guide....because mining and
blacksmith does not seem to match the one of the obsidian website anymore.

As in, I can mine Rusty at 40.1, when it clearly was marked that I could only mine it at
around 55.

Thanks to whom ever assists me :D

Well I think there was something posted from Bob, I saw the picture before, but for
some reason I cannot remember what section of the forum it was in, nor what the
thread was named...so searching for it in the search engine is useless :|

Hi, about mining and blacksmithing. Make your piles of ore in to small amounts like two or three and lay they around the forge. Then smelt them and lay out more until you have completed the amount of ore you have. The act of smelting gives your the credit. When I wanted to gain fast I would start by smelting and then make daggers , when you can do more then I did gorgets. Gorgets give you a good balance between number of ingots and amount of gold you get. Recently it seems that to make items you need to forge them. So although you may gain faster you still my have to practice on other pieces of armor. :mrsgreen:

actually gorgets have the highest gold/ingot ratio.....of any armor piece.

The point of making daggers was to make them and resmelt them and you used less resources for gains. But now i believe you can no longer gain from that so it is kind of pointless. I think like dedo said gorgets are your best bet, if you sell them to npc's you can atleast make a little money and keep yourself supplied with pickaxes.
