I have noticed that some of the spawns seem to be less, but the bigger ones, wind, trinsic, occlo etc. seem to be the same. Cove spawns much less now which i think is kind of bad because it is the safe haven for noobs and would definately help them to have plenty of animals to kill, tame w/e. |

ya i also noticed that while on my tamer.....is there a reason as to why the animals seem to be hiding from us? did Sub open his legs again and scare them off kidding, but ya....would really suck badly for new Obsidian tamers coming in and finding nothing to tame |

It would be nice to either see the spawns move further from their point of origin, or somehow spawn a region with very light forest creatures...birds, rats, harts,...stuff like that....one every 20 tiles or so. |

ya, or a spawn should be able to spawn like 4-5 animals at once,,, jeeze its horrible, i tried starting a tamer (gave up) and wow! the gains are hard to get... but then you gotta run around!. if your new,, with no horse! wow!, after taming,,, i sware i will NEVER EVER EVER complain about black smithing gains.............. EVER |

That is a real problem that i see as well. As said before, and yes i know you get faster gains apperently from successful taming, but still animals tame too fast. Anyone who has a tamer now if it is GM now keep it and anyone who started a new one should probably delete it and start something else unless something is done. Walking around finding 1 animal every 10 minutes and taming him fist try, then walking around for another 10 to find another one is rediculous. |

I've given up on animal taming, jesus christ, I can't find a single horse in the entire region of britain, cove, or vesper. And the animals I do find I tame them and haven't gotten 1 single gain. |

2 gains an hour? And does that include the hour it takes yu to find another animal you haven't tamed yet. This i think is just another example of something that looks good on paper but in reality it doesn't work that way. |

Yeh....even if we could find the animals, 2 hours to gain 2.0? Most of us don't play here 24/7...If that's the way it's going to be I'm never training a tamer.. |

I love this. Re-read the three posts above me. It went from: "2.0 gains an hour" to "2 gains an hour" to "2 gains in 2 hours" WHAT THE HELL GUYS. Seriously, how am i supposed to take ANY of you seriously if you can't even keep a concept the same in literally THREE CONSEQUTIVE POSTS. Alright, that rant done. What i did say was at THAT skill level (meaning the person i talked to), 2.0 gains(meaning 20 .1 gains) in an hour would be around average. And if you are taking an hour to find an untamed animals, your'e not looking hard enough. In fact you're probably not even looking. This isn't a "looks good on paper" ideal, this is a fact. We've never even approached 60% animals in the overland wilds being tamed in the past 3 months. |

There is still the simple fact that taming is in danger of becoming a skill that noone will ever take up because it takes way too long to gm. If i wasn't gm already i could test it a little better but then if i wasn't already GM i probably would have said screw it and deleted my tamer by now. |

BoB if you noticed the first and second post are exactly the same 2 and 2.0 are exactly the same number.... and I didn't mean to quote you like that sorry, didnt mean to insult you in any way. but I search, and it is hard coming by animals to tame consistantly, I have to stop use tracking sit there, find animal move to new area repeat. what ever way you break it down, it doesnt come out to 2.0 or 20-.1 gains an hour. simple as, lol, like belg said, it probably looks damn sexy on paper, but in game it just doesn't work like that. |
