First i'd like to thank everyone for behaving themselves and not breaking stuff while i had to hiatus due to university picking up and having to sort out new hardware/schedules. <----- THIS IS SARCASM. Those who decided to abuse stuff because they noticed staff was busy/away are about to get in serious trouble once i have time to go through logs and deal out the fire and brimstone. Do NOT MAKE MY JOB HARDER, i prefer working on patches, not catching your half-baked attempts at breaking ruels and hoping i don't notice.

Now with that out of the way here's the roadmap for near future:

Wood elves are almost done. They are actually mostly implemented currently as some wood-elves might have noticed. I just got pulled away near the end of coding them and did not finish their last two abilities and the activation menues. The passive works. I will post the actual race overview when i finish and patch it in.

Next race is warlocks and dark elves, i forget which is first. When i fix warlocks i'll fix necromancy.

The L system and the Crafting system are both around 70-90% done, i just need a good free full day, or two half-days, that i know about in-advance so i can set down and finish these two projects. If you care about crafting in any way, please make sure you read through the crafting patch discussion threads(i believe in general discussion, might be on page 2-3 now that no one's added stuff in a while). While reading make sure everything you care about has been mentioned. Doesn't mean it'll go in, but if no one mentions stuff i can't know to consider it in adding and balance.

Three event lines are completely planned out and approved, with two more getting reviewed currently. I'd like to implement at least one of them soon.

I forget what the next skill on the revamp list is but i want to get 1-2 of those done as well. We have way too many unused or worthless skills.

I'd LIKE to get the new web interfaces up, or at least part of them, but that requires broadband to do some stuff too so we'll see when he has time. Either way i'll post some fun screenshots and statistics of things to come and useful info for ya'll to think on/discuss so i can keep evolving that system until it does go in.

Keep in mind these are major items on the roadmap, and that minor bug fixes, new features, typo fixes, etc, will still happen on a somewhat random basis as i do patches.

i am amazed Bob....I have been gone for the past week camping and I could
have never imagined that this would have happened in those 5 days (not implementing
that you are lazy and didn't care).

however, thanks for the update, the races seem like they are coming along and
i am also very giddy about the fact that the crafting patch is 70-90% completed,
which is most likely the best part of Obsidian, crafting and the occasionally PvPing :D

So these new abilities do they still work through the race stone? Cuz if so mine is busted. :(

I believe all raceskills will worth through the
.raceskills command
and yes someone needs to post them that has a woodelf.

it wasnt in the change log

I did .racekills and nothing happened but i also ate a fish steak for the first time in about 4 months today so my char might be bugged. :P
