 Post subject: Jhelom fighting pits BUG

This is to report a bug.
Today training with Terek (happened the same to other player later) in the Jhelom fighting pits, he died and was teleported to the spectation area but bugged, can't move, HP at 0, lots of puff and noises lol
He logged out/in and still bugged... it got fixed when badmonrising healed him.
The exact same thing happened to other player later and then me too... seems like a bug :)

i believe the problem is that Bob has not yet implemented a script that when one dies in the Jhelom
pits he/she gets transfered back to outside Haven fully healed or partially healed. although it does seem
like a bug, might just be a glitch that Bob needs to look at and solve =] nice find tho

wait, but isnt it supposed to teleport you outside Haven fully healed? that what i remember
the Jhelom pits doing when one died in an event/or freidnly fight.....o well

no i thought this was changed so people wouldn't hop back in, to fight in an event and/ or so people wouldn't miss any of deh event when they dye.

I imagine people were exploiting this to train tho,
not sure if exploiting it is bug abuse seeing as it was set like that, but who knows

now that i think it through, it was kind of like noobs fighting each other at the entrance of cove, and they would poof back to the same spot allowing them to train with no risk of death
and no need for bandies

thus became a target of restile back in those days. i will pay you back...even if you dont remember me.

and something on-topic....when one poofs from the fighting(losing)....they should automatically be taken out of war mode.
might not seem like a big problem, but id rather not whack someone because of it.

It's just because he hasn't made it return hit points to whatever he wants it to, so it thinks your dying over and over since your HP is at the set amount bob made it to poof you to the bridge. It's a simple fix, so this topic doesn't need to continue.

well for exploitation purposes. I think this *poof* point should be changed, or made to vary like the one in cove was eventually changed to, so 1 player can't stand on a given tile and re kill the same character OVER AND OVER.

ps. for the people who didn't know,

the challenge area now properly works,

step onto the 2 grey tiles next to the trophy mounted armor
with your opponent on the opposite side grey tile.
and you will be poofed to the top of the roof,
the only way off the roof is kill the opponent.

NOTE, you do lose and gain fame, but no karma when in these pits

i know....i lost a lot of fame today. i dont like the amount lost, especially when the winner didnt gain any fame at all for beating me(**cough cough** i lost on purpose all 3 times and lost like 2400 fame. they gained 0). thats kind of like gaining HK's in world of warcraft for killing someone whos 20 levels lower than you. i do think this is somewhat of an "issue".....though not a big one.
