Isn't it spelled "heater"? When I make shit I usually don't click the ingots...I just make it and get on with my life.

its another problem from ALWAYS, staff change stuff they wont tell players... they always say " find out, its part of the game rarafffff "

well alot of players dont do DEEP search on skills in how they work, alot of us just play and do stuff, another guys look deep to see how the stuff works and r the one who always found bugs and such.

It's been a long time since I trained blacksmithing.
But when I trained it I would just fill up with the most ingots I could hold.
then just make whatever it was I was makin to train at the time over and over until I
didnt have enough ingots to make it again and then would just refill too the max with ingots again.
and repeat. Not once checking how many ingots are left after each try. That would make training
2x time consuming. So my guess would be that 90% or more ppl that did train at the give time didnt even
notice the bug.

and most of the bugs happen in the way xkill say , we dont even know that they exist... just a few players who likes to do a deep analysis of how stuff work r the one who found it.

if change is make should be nice to have a VERY DEEP explanation, not like sometimes when staff just say "its all u need to know"... wtf

I know because we are in beta we probably should be but i honestly didn't pay much attention to what i was using and not using. Sorry bob didn't realize there might have been an issue with it. I will keep a closer eye on things like that.

I'm a bit curious bob, where did you state before this how much the "correct" amount was?

I appreciate that some players are saying that they will spam craft in a hurry and not check ingots - and / or did not realise anything was wrong because we are in beta and there have been numerous changes to crafting.

However the more astute of you will have noticed that Bob mentioned Verite and higher.

This is because the player behavior is completely different as the ores become less common. For instance, most players do not have the patience (I was the same :D) to wait until they had enough BR ore for a full set - they would make a crafting attempt for the specific item they want (e.g. heater) as and when they have the ingots.

You're forgetting that we've all been players :0)

When you are crafting valuable, rare ores - in small amounts - you would be waiting with baited breath for the crafting outcome! You would know exactly how many of the valuable ingots you had for that piece. Upon failure you would then immediately notice that you had (in fact) not lost out in the way that you expected to.

Each and every GM blacksmith (and other crafters) on the server knows what I am talking about, so please be grateful that Bob has turned a blind eye to that one. You all know that out of all the highend armour crafting attempts (and subsequent failures) over the past 6 months, the chances that noone spotted this are zero.

:P
