Cannot gain 0.1% in alchemy. I've tried NS, Garlic, Mandrake root, and ginseng. Not 1 single gain. I mixed over 300 NS (2 each time for lesser,) and got 0.0% gains. This sir, is gay.

The skills have changed from repitition to difficulty. That means now it doesnt go by how many times you do it. It goes by the hardest thing you can make.

Not neccessarily the hardest thing, but you do have to make something substantially difficult related to your current skill level.

well, i mixed 400 ginseng the other day, not 1 gain..I believe that is substantially difficult related to my current skill level.

what's your skill level, and what potion were you mixing?

Try stone walls, poison walls, fire walls

I know you said most things are going back to old ways eventually, but is this one of those things , the difficulty based gains? i hope so because things like cooking are going to be almost impossible to gm if you have to cook a bunch of stat fish to gm it. also im not sure if you know but resist doesnt go up at all anymore,and yes ive been in plenty enough situations for it to go up and least 10 to 20 gains. just curuis thanks

lol...thats the very first thing i mixed, over 350 BM and didnt get 1 gain.

All i can say i am glad that my alchy is already gm. Does anyone have an idea of the change in cost compared to the old way and now the new? It would be interesting to know for sure.

add me to the list of gm alchys who dont give a damn if it gains now or not rofl. jk

i think the difficulty thing is friggen broken, no matter what with skills like that it doesnt matter what u make (same with BSing) you will gain on rarely
I gave up mineing for now lol
