Post subject:  How to obtain Leather Dye Tub question?
Hi im sure you have been asked this many times before. I know on official Origin shards you could obtain a leather dye tub by having an account older than two years old. I was wondering if this was the case for Obsidian or wether there was a Quest available to obtain the Leather Dye tub. Its just a bit off-putting if I have to wait two years for Leather dye tub as my obsidian account is extremely new. I used to have quite far-on character on the Origin Europa shard and have started to use Obsidian but would really love to know of any special quests for items such as Leather dye tubs? Im sure there is no way or service available to transfer your old Origin account to your shard?

i think you can craft leather dye tubs... but they are bugged i do beleive and i think you hafta use regular dyeson a regular dye tub then use the regular dye tub to dye the leather dye tub.

i havnt fooled much with them but thats what ive heard

In brit there is a leather shop that sells leather dye tubs. You then go to a barber shop, or tailor shop (the one with a scissor sign) and buy a dye tub and a couple of dyes. Then you click on the dye colors, click the tub, pick a color and then click the dye tub and then click the leather one. Then you can color leather items.

I thought I had heard something about you being able to craft them. Im guessing you need to be GM carpenter, but if anyone has any usefull information on this, as in, short explanation of how to craft leather dye tub including skill levels required and special items required. This would really help me out a lot thanks! Also im glad to hear that other people agree that a quest would be a good way of obtaining the leather dye tub or black dye tub!

Well to answer another question that you had. When I looked at the carpentry guide it in fact does not show that you are in any way able to craft leather dye tub. Your best bet is to follow with what I said. However, a quest does sound like a terrific idea into acquiring a special leather dye tub. May I suggest a nice white, black, or gold color would be very nice. :D

we used to have black leather dye tubs but not many people have them.bruiser had one but i used it up he was pissed.
