Ok, so I was pretty happy when I stumbled upon this website. I remember playing UO when it came out. And now the question. I have downloaded the client and installed it. I go to create my account and it says my IP address was already used. How could it be used if I have never created an acoount before? How do I solve this problem. What does it mean to PM someone?

PM= private message

Best bet would be go to a freinds house or public place with internet and try to make an account.

or you could use a proxy server to temporary change ip. also a solution.

Ok, so I went to two different places and tried to create an account. Both times it stated that the IP was already used. Isn't there an easier way to register so I can play on your servers? i appreciate the help so far.

That is weird that it did that.
Even you two post have different IP's.

setup to route via a proxy server and youll get a new ip adress

just google for free proxy or goto this site:
http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html
its the first hit when searching on free proxy

go into browser settings and in there how you connect to internet. (Sorry i cant explain to detailed in english as I use a swedish mozilla Firefox browser) pick something like connect manually to proxy server and fill in info from any of the ip's on that site. and port aswell. This doesent even require a restart of any kind will work at once! try several proxies if anyone is taken, then if you succeed to get an account just go into browser settings > connection settings and put back your normal settings to connect.

First of all I would like to thank everyone for the help so far. I went to the proxy website and numerous other ones. I tried to create an account with about 15-20 different proxy settings. Every single time it came back as this IP was already used. Has anyone else had problems such as mine? Frustration is starting to set in. I still want to join up, but it seems as if it shouldn't be this hard just to create an account. Granted I don't know the logistics behind all of it. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks again.

try the lost password function with the email you used for your account

Ok, I used the lost password function. It said the password was successfully sent. Just wondering how will getting my forum password help me create an in game account? Thanks again for the help.

Ok but I haven't been able to create an account other than this forum account. I tried entering my forum account information into the game's logon screen, no luck. I used the lost password function twice and still haven't seen the email. Thanks for all the help so far. Hopefully all these problems will get worked out.

I have almost lost hope. It would be very cool to be able to play UO again. However this is all of the confusion of simply creating an account. Still no email regarding my lost password. Could an Admin create an account and just provide me with the username and password? I still have a little hope left. And as always thanks for the help.

I have a little brother that made an account and stopped playing on it. If it is okay with staff I would be glad to support you with the username and password.

I also have one. username is paladin its pretty easy you can have if if a staff allows it.
