Post subject:  Poisoning
I currently have
GM magery
50 poisoning real (abit higher)
and according to prevous post and the skill guild on site
the forumula for poisoning is
(magery+poisoning)/8=damage
magery= freqency of damage(GM magery=6 secs)
so i plugged in the numbers for sub zero
[ (100+50)/8 ]
and came out with i should be doing around 18.6 damage every 6 seconds

yet when I accually cast the spell on someone, I always do 2-4 damage per 14-16 seconds, sometimes the poison wont show up at all, some times itll do the damage one time than nothing after that :/
I am sure resist and healing is'nt a factor seeing i was testing against spawn and we told each other wether it was slight resist, full resist, or no resist :/

so my question is......
Does anyone know the real forumula for poison damage? and a updated poison guide?
ps. i wasnt looking for tons of damage i just wanted regular damage
i would do with a pot at least :(

I think the damage guide is about right for poisoning.

even the lesser poison pots do 5 damage every 12 seconds, so I can't believe that you're getting 2-4 every 12-14 seconds!

it's possible the timing is based on poisoning skill, and not on magery?

but i still should be doing more damage with 100 magery
and 50 poisoning, i dont even do the regular ''you like ill''

i get the lame lesser ill thing :(

maybe pots are different to casting at lower lvl skill. Anyway those charts are out of date so just go with the flow.

Sometimes you resist poisn but don't get a message saying you did, that has happened to me quite a bit.

i casted on him quite a bit, tried it with anther dude but more and same reults i never once got the damage i should do :(

well wen u hit 60 poisonning,ull still have little ill but it wil lbe faster and damage alot more then wen u have 50
