Made it is such a bleh term. Anyway while we were helping everyone gear up, i talked with dedo and it was decided that a scout would be helpful, so i ran ahead to see what lying in wait for the rest of our group, so we'd know how much equipment/etc that everyone would need. For any attempting to follow, here is my advice. You will use both stonewalls and rocks to safely make it past the wyrms. On the 2nd from last wyrm, the one before all the winding pathways, be EXTRA CAREFUL. Because there are 3 wyrms in that one square, and they spell insta death for most everyone, including almost all poly daemons.


Well, after going past the wyrms, what I found was this:



I relayed this back and chatted with everyone the last couple hours had been spent with. I must say it felt good, having to work back from the ground up. Makes me feel young again. Of course then someone had to go point out that i was over 70... spoilsports...
Anyway so I pushed through the door, apparently unable to rejoin my comrades. What i found was an army lying in wait....




Elementals of all kinds, archers, ettins, reapers, shadow bears, daemons. An army of truely monstrous proportions.



I will stand my ground till the rest rejoin, but I don't know how long that shall be.....





Even now the bodies are piling almost higher then i can step over comfortably, may the rest join up soon....

Well heres the deal so far, and me, hydro, and ice have found this to help(with the assistance of ice elves). All u need to do is gather up as many ice elves, and use them to freeze the wyrms for a period of time. At this point the ice leves will escort the pvm mages, warriors, and the pvp mages to the final area. Which ive heard have one of the scariest things ever(im exaggerating at this point). When this is done all the warriors, and mages have to be equipted to the max. And the final step is done, and thnxs to the people who helped, and the ones that are helping as I write, this has been going great. For those crafters having a hard time i will try and be there and help. There are some things that u mights need to be dead to actually succeed in. I hope that this helps, and i will be escorting people to the location that we are having the most diffuculty at. This is something that I have to say GONGRATS TO DOU MAXWELL!!!This has challenged me to a point that I cant even explain, and I hope that these qwests will not stop, and that there are more to come in the future. AND AGAIN ALL CRAFTERS THAT NEED ASSISTANCE PLZ LOOK FOR BRAXXANN, AND OR MAMMOTH.....I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ESCORT U TO HELP US. However, do not bring anyhting valuable with u, as u will lose these, and will not be able to get them back. Hope u guys have a great time doing this.

I have to hand it to Duo... from the sounds of it, he's been kicking some serious a** all on his own Hopefully everyone will be able to get up there and give him some much needed backup soon. I'm currently busy clearing every possible spot that I could squeeze some ore out of, but I'm not the greatest blacksmith, so if anyone who has something close to gm, that would come in handy

We shouldnt have stone walls? There are no skeles... There are eyes of newt but were any alchys even down there? How did u get stonewalls..

Staff said to go help duo.. The path looked ok to go down but i died.. it was right past the 3 wyrms.. Then the rock path virus had made started to vanish... so everything i collected was lost.. I dont think there was a point in even tryin tonight so i dunno why we got told to go help duo for real... Mabey ill bring drac tomorrow but i gave up and put max in vesp..

Also there are a hell of alot of people who worked very hard on alot of different things tonight.. It wasnt Just DUO by any stretch.. I do love duo and all im just saying... There are noobs who did as much to help the group..

it was a group effort to be sure but duo takes the cake for being a team player he was all over helping everyone. And I believe they are using the stone wall spell not pot. not sure never been good at that magery thing XD. I'll be on tommorow probably between classes making mor armor and wepons. please only take what you NEED from chests. It is very annoying to try and stockplie "rare" ingots only to have people steal them

I think the main effort right now should be on stockpiling weapons and regs and what not then plan some time to make one big group push at army? idk as most know im a terriable fighter

how about u stfu prick i helped out tons on that quest, who done the first door?who done the ice maze? who unlocked the chest to fidn the clue "fire is where u r height is where u look" or suming? who solvd the clue? who odne the spikes? who done the red portal SUCK ON MY f****** BALLS c*** HAD ENOUGH OF UR SHIT CRYING ON THE FOURM AND IN GAME NOW back to the quest ....

Well i went down to have a look and once i was there i had to play
Me and NME have been working all night to get regs etc and will continute to do so but im sorry but i wont be putting these into the chests as i know ppl will take them and rune out to bank them, so if u have a mage down there just ask me for regs and i will help ya out.
I also took aimee down to and yarpen is mining me some ingots which im turning into bottles and making poison also in mixing the eye of newt and for the mages like NME who over capped im mixing -dex lol i will be happy to do some gheals etc to if you need any.
Ive cooked the fish steaks that were there and ive also collected some ribs and cooked them which are in the chests.
Its also an idea that if you get a drop and dont need the bag place the empty bag in the chests cos its easier to keep organised.
If anyone needs anything just let me know i will help the best i can.
After all after all the work we put in at the beggining i cant not finish the quest

Journal of the Forward Scout, day 2.

I'm keeping the good fight up, trying to give you all a place you can retreat back to when you all come. As you can see, i've been staying alive by feasting off the supplies of the fallen enemies. Their cloaks and shoes can be cut to make cloth to bandage thy wounds, and the magic casting orcs occasionally rush forward and provide with scant, but passable reagents, as you can see from my pack.



There is a magical teleporter in the corner which leads to a relatively safe haven, which i've set up a small but meager camp. All the archers had to eat was chicken and cake.... I wonder if i we could get those kinds of field rations?



It seems my efforts have not gone unnoticed... they are sending forth more powerful foes, this time i've noticed gargoyles starting to appear in their ranks. It is all i can do to keep them behind their wall... Let us hope the main force is doing well...



OOC: Everyone please keep your own screenshot journals. At the conclusion of this quest I am going to be fashioning another quest history page like i did for the LOTDE, and I would love if i could turn it into sort of a narrative of a war, with serveral different viewpoints.

Journal of the Forward Scout, day 2

My own reinforcements are still nowhere in sight, I assume they are still gearing up for the battle. The enemy ranks comming out of the room beyond are finally slowing, I believe soon I may be able to go look inside and see what horrors they haven't unleashed.




After picking off a few more of the guards I was finally able to enter their main stronghold without too much resistance, however what I saw in there was worse then the horrors already faced. Higher tier elementals of snow and blood, as well as a few more demonics. Also I saw a giant of a daemon, I believe he is the arch druid, and he looks most fierce indeed. I heard growling off to the southeast, so i will go check that after righting this, i fear they have more in reserves. Supplies are a bit higher then they were earlier, but I still fear they may run out, there were less archers and mages in the newer ranks, and i only have around 600 bandages i'm limited by my only 30 bloodmoss and 40 ss, everything else is above 100.



I remember that I haven't yet described the big construct near the entrance to their lair. I believe it to be a giant power switch, the mechanism to change i haven't found yet. Maybe the arch druid has the control upon him. Anyway if this is shut down for a day, all the black rock spires will fail, and I believe peace shall be restored. With this in mind I await my comrades, trying my best to salvage supplies for their use. I believe with the many bows and 3,500 arrows that the dead enemies have yielded, we shall be amply armed.
