Okay, so I have this warrior who I can't get past 76 str and I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions?

If you think that will help, maybe I'll give it a try.

A friend of mine told me to get to 100 in mace fighting and that would bring it up. Think that would work? I've already got him at 93 on Swordsmanship.

I meant do lumberjacking until 80 str and mining until you reach 100 str.
Mace will get you to 100 str also but the fff cost to much if you are not going to keep it.

Swordsmanship will only get your Str to around 75, which is why you're not gaining.

Mace is the best way to get it to hit 100, but the fff cost about 10k each.

Mining will get you up to 90 Str and the fff shouldn't cost anymore then a few k

Try using wine bottles or something that gets u drunk while training, you'll get a loss temporary, and with some luck u'll gain some str!

I personally would go with macefighting esp if you have some extra skill points laying around.

Yea mace is kind of expensive for fff but it is definately faster i found then anything else. Except maybe wrestling the gains are about the same but wrestling fff is much more expensive.

To be honest macefighting is a very good melee skill anyway, if I was building a new warrior now I'd be tempted to go with macing and keep it. If thats the case, you don't need to worry about the cost of the FFF.

Battle axe is great, but vanq hammerpick is the highest (non-magic) DPS of any one-handed melee weapon, particularly when facing reactive armour. The ability to keep your shield on should not be underestimated.
