When i try to log on as my char Mayhem, obsidian freezes and crashes and i cant use him. I've been able to make new chars and use them fine, but this ones bugged.

this all happened after explorer crashed and froze my comp and i had to restart my computer. I've even gone as far as reinstalling the game but to no avail. pls help thank you.

It's highly likely that moving your character will fix this problem.

Although you crash on login, this is only when the client attempts to load the GUI + game display (often an item/item count-related issue) - in actual fact you will still appear ingame even though you cannot see it!

The best way is to page for a staff member from a different character. They can answer the page, then you can log onto your Mayhem character and they can use the .page g command to port to your location and move you.

If, however, you know the approximate location where you crashed with that character then it will be relatively easy for a GM to find you, even if you are not logged on. Similarly if you have a house, I can view the properties of your house to find your character 'itemID', and find you from that.

I know exaclty were I am, I am located in the cove graveyard in the portal room and i am in front of the door that is directly leaveing the portal like in paralell i can go in game right now n you can help me fix it.

alright thanks man. I dont wanna lose my char, I paged a gm too so if you cant help then hopefully someone can. and on a unrelated topic i learned how to donate, on the old pages you can get to buddies pay pal and donate haha. I force support you guys.

Yeah it does, he means in the thread that BB posted with links to the older versions of this website, there are links to his pay pal account, so he's "forcing" donations onto us. lol.

nope still crashes just as I double click my char to use him.

Try going into your Obsidian directory and then into the Desktop folder (Usually C:/Games/Obsidian/Desktop). Delete the folder in that directory for the character that is bugged, and then try to log in again.
