This song was and kinda still is popular here. I might have made some mistakes translating it but I hope I got it right. Tried to do it as similar to the original as possible and this is what came out of it:

All of this started many years ago,
When my ancestors were on their knees,

If you understood french fluently you'd love the song. It's a band type song, can be remade/remodelled with new lyrics and such if someone wanted to use the idea.
