Okay, this is way off topic, but blame Dedo since she started this train of thought for me. *grin*

Last night I was talking with my sixteen year old sister when she brought in her friend. A guy friend. Now, Mom and I thought this was cool as she didn't usually bring friends home. (yes, I live at home, it's cheaper while I'm in college) After said friend went home, she informed us that she had decided she was going to date him. Me, being the older sibling, had to be a terd and tease her about it. "Aw, my little girl is all grown up and getting a boyfriend."

She looked at me and smiled sadly. "You do realize this is like the fourth one I've had right? Gee, must suck to be you since you've been out on like, how many dates?"

:shock:

Oh, God! :oops: That's when it hit me. She was right! I could count how many dates I'd had on one hand, none of which had gone well. And here was my sixteen year old sister with her FOURTH boyfriend? I ask you, is this fair?

No wonder I'm the black sheep of the family! UGH!! Someone just shoot me know. LOL

Please forget the post. It was stupid to write it and I was having a moment I rather wish I hadn't had. We've all had those, right? Anyway, just forget it. I needed to vent and forgot how stupid it really can sound when the words are no longer in my head.

and my girlfriend is my second one and im 20yo... and i know that ill rest of my life with her...WTH is wrong with u ppl?!?!?!? does the number of dates tells what ppl u are? 16yo? 4 boyfriends? geez, thats sad for me, she propably dont even know what true love is...just more and more boyfriends to show that ''im the best oh ah...'' i'd rather like to have one girlfriend in my whole life but be happy with her, not like hundreds and thousands of partners. anyway dont care man, there is a girl waiting for ya somewhere there, ive been in a similiar situation, the thing is not to have as many girlfriends as u can ''get'' but to find this only one which will love ya trully.
and dont say that im telling bulls because ive a girlfriend and we r damn happy being together
so at the end: dont care too much

Thorin, thanks for the senitment that *someone* is out there for me. Glad to hear you're having a great relationship.

However, do not now or ever attack mysister. Is she grown up, of course not, she's sixteen. As for her statement, she was teasing me as I teased her, no maliciousness inteneded. It just hit a sore spot for me. She doesn't go through guys like they were candy, when she has a relationship she has an honest to god relationship that is quite mature for her age. I'll not go into the reasons she's has so many, but believe me, there is a reason, one that has now been rectified. And yes, she knows what love is. I think all of my siblings do and because of the things we've been through we aren't so sure it exists for us. We've become jaded, sad to say, even my sixteen year old sister.

I understand that you were telling me to shrug it off, and I appreciate that, really I do. Just remember, family can talk about family, no one else can.



I really am sorry I've posted this post, it was stupid. Hell, I should have blogged it where no one would read it. I think part of me knew it was stupid. I was pitying myself, not something I allow very often, but there it is. I'm sorry to you that have read this stupid rant. And may I clear up one thing? I am not a guy. Sorry if you've recieved the wrong impression from my avatar, it just seemed appropriate and I happen to love Saiyuki which is a manga series. Again, my apologies to everyone.

sorry ive said a little bit too much :/ i know the relations between the brothers- ive got 2 older ones(im 20yo, and they are 28yo and 35yo)....they were kicking my ass regularly heh:P

Dedo's right, there's no need for apologies over this.... Sometimes, even if it's a subject that we'd probably like to keep internal, these things need to just be let out where others can help put it in perspective and maybe give you the boost necessary to get you out of a tough spot.

To be honest I dont think it matters mate. as long as your content with yaself 'n' happy. when you eventually decide you wanna look for the right person, you'll find em. Until then if ya feelin lonely and need some companionship......
