"He came over the top of a stingray and the stingray's barb went up and went into his chest and put a hole into his heart," said Mr Irwin's friend and manager John Stainton. "It's likely that he possibly died instantly when the barb hit him, and I don't think that he ... felt any pain. "He died doing what he loved best." Mr Irwin's death was only the third known stingray death in Australian waters, said shark and stingray expert Victoria Brims.  R.I.P |

He's a conservationist and a zoo operator. He's made TV shows and stuff. Great guy really, not many people have that kind of personality. RIP Steve. |

why dont you losers just say the crocodile hunter. i saw the pic but no one actually said it and i had to fng waste 6 seconds of my life goggling the name. dammit. i only know him as the cocodile hunter, he was one crazy mf fo sho. wtf echo. conservationist and a zoo operator my ass hes the crocodile hunter WTF why didnt you just say it. |

Crazy yes but caught alot of ppl attention and learned from him in alot of ways...RIP Steve and best wishes for his wife and daughter.....he died doing what he loved best and did alot of good for animals

aye crockie!! hes gone i miss him yeah i always new he was going to get killed by fighting a "crock-eye" or something along the lines i feel sorry for his wife and kids my wishes go to them and i will miss the tv show aswell R.I.P. bro we will all miss you
