So, the name's Aretelio. I happened to meet up with a person by the name of dedo on a Guild Wars IRC channel that I Op in. I loved UO when I used to play it back in the day but have been out of the loop for a while. Anyway, dedo tells me about this free shard she plays on and I mention how much I used to enjoy the game. She directed me here, so I sign up for an account and am merely waiting to get it approved (I guess) before I can log in and waste some time! I didn't see an Official Introduction thread (I'll admit, I may not have looked that hard), so I figured I'd drop a thread in here to let everyone know that I'm really looking forward to playing if I get the chance. he's right, this is the best shard by far. sometimes can be a pain getting started but worth the effort i can assure you. good luck and welcome to obsidian! |

yeah - welcome!! Like they said - best shard ever - I used to play OSI (as did those above) - and this shard is waaay better! Some things are slightly different to OSI, but you'll get used to it! And it CAN take a little while to get yourself going - so stick at it, it's worth the effort!!! |
