Hello. I'm having a problem, I went to the "Getting Started" Page and clicked on the link to download the Full Obsidian 3.0.5 Installer, when I did that it brought me to http://www.mckillion.com/obsidian/downl ... e=Obsidian Which then opened the window to choose where I want to download it too, when it was downloaded, I started up the installer, and about 75% though it, a window poped up saying Corrupt Installer, I tried reinstalling it a few times, but the Corrupt Installer came up everytime? Any suggestions? Glanth Nable |

Try starting the installer with /NCRC parameter (it's case sensitive). If it won't work, try redownloading (there's a rumour about one of the mirrors being corrupt). |

use internet explorer to download obs works everytime guarnteed all the probs i have seen persobally with the corrupt installer ius due to mozilla firefox etc. USE INTERNET EXPLORER, u will be surprised u will have to trash the first obs installer and redownload it with IE |

Ah thank you very much, I use Ace Explorer, thats probaly why. I got it installed just waiting for my acount to go active. So the acount usually takes 1-2 hours to activate? |

sometimes, but u need to check ur trash/junk email alot of the time it goes there. also some email obs wont send an email to for some reason so u may need to end up using diff email accounts to actually recieve ur account info. but its worth the hassle |

A friend I invited last week DL'd the installer via IE, never noticed a connection drop (but granted he didn't watch it the whole time) and also recieved the corrupt error. |

hmm thats odd i have set up obs for a few people and always have trouble with anything except ie, but u never know |

hahaha kig guess what im trying to download this for that lazy newb heartless but im having the same problem again stops at 36% and this time its not internet expoler its getting me a bit angry becuase i deleted my instaler |

hey flame - I downloaded the whole installer today - it seems to work fine for me. Just use a program that can 'resume' downloading - I used Free Download Manager - that way if there is some hitch, at least it will resume! |

Seem's to be a few problems with the installer.. I ran into a problem installing it at school, gives me some exceptional error when i try to run the patcher, even though I've installed the .net framework shit.. WTF make it work for me at school! |

It's only for 1 class.. and I have like 96% in it.. so uh.. I can afford to play games during that block  Now someone tell me how to make it work at school! |

ok ashes i got one for you and Kigger try installing it ona bank network and make it work without corpret security taking over and getting you screwed. that's a challange. runs througha proxy server and has auto scans. has scripts that wont let you run .exe files anything booted in cd is flagged and you got to call to unlock and it's watched as you do it. downloads are also flagged. lol good luck guys |
