Shooter and me wishes to return to obsi, but we downloaded the installer v3.0.5. installed it, but gives a error "Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?" some1 can help us out? |

ya my friend gets the same error its when ur decompressing the sounds gets to like 29% and maxes out everytime |

follow the link from the getting started section from the main website, and DO NOT use a download manager or accelerator. This includes apps such as getright and download accelerator, but may also extend to the download managers in firefox and opera - im not sure. Every time ive downloaded using download accelerator ive had this issue - but downloading from the mirror on the homepage, using a simple (albeit slow) internet explorer download, has worked every time! Try it... |

Well, I personally had no problems with Firefox (via Windows or Linux), but you never know. I'd say try without anything, and if you absolutely must, use that terrible blue e. |

There was a corrupted installer on torrents a while ago. Might be Your problem, just go to http://downloads.dxgaming.com to get a copy of the game. Thx BB! |

Is a torrent client much different from a resumable download manager in the way it treats the file? Like I said, the Obsidian installer seems to dislike anything that messes with the file, downloads it into chunks etc. A single, wholesome download from the official download site is the most foolproof method. |

ya torrents download whatever bit they can at any time they can get it, torents are russamble but download in thousands of little chunks, not in order either |
